Anita you rock! I am an olde tyme Groovasaurus fan from way back in the days of the Claddagh in South Boston. I still listen to all the CD's (except the one with "Happy" on it which I lost and can't seem to find anyone to burn me a copy!) My wife and son and I listened to the Cheeks album on a road trip to North Carolina for the holidays ("Happy Holidays") and she was really interested in checking out your show. Hope to make it over to the Toad to check out your show!

hey there --
heard you play at Toad on the 7th. Amazing! You sang a song that said something about love being a raging ocean and going beyond for ever, soemthing like that. Does this ring a bell? what song was that? which album is it on? I'd love to get it. And, I'm a member of Surfrider, a non-profit oceans protection advocacy group. We'd like to augment our monthly meetings with performers and speakers. Would you consider donating some time to come to play an hour set (we're trying to book Middle-East's upstairs room) and selling some CDs?

I just stumbled across my Groovasaurus Cd's and with my wife and daughter away for the night I am enjoying a wonderful moment down memory lane. I still remember the nights you all played in the South End. I've been away from Boston for over 4 years and it is great to see you are still singing.

I wondered who had that great voice singing harmony with Chris Smither on Crocodile Man. The CD credit just said "Anita: background vocals" - A little reading of the fine print, a little Googling of your name, and here I am enjoying your wonderful voice on the MP3 clips and leaving you a message.

Caught your show Monday night at Toad, fabulous! Then I discovered your website and see that you give singing lessons. I am very interested and taking some lessons so would like to know your rates, openings, etc.
Also do you ever give singing lessons to 2 people at a time?

After all these years I'm still missing those late night, sweaty, groovin', grindin', intense sets you guys played back in the foot loose and carefree days. Just saying hi. I was wondering what had become of Groovasaurus and Anita. I always loved your sound and thought that you had "it". Sadly there might not have been as many of me as their should have been, but I know more than a few that share my opinion and we all play music so I think that that counts for something.
I think yuo have a very natural and commanding voice, able to be both subtle and powerful as needed and knowing when it is appropriate to be either.
I am plesed to see that you are playing around the corner from my house at the Wild Horse. If things aren't too hectic with my wife and kids I will be there. At any rate, I am glad to see you are still performing. Those of us who like to go see quality performers need you.
