Happy New Year. It was 16 years ago New Years Eve, that we were married in Providence, dancing all night with Groovasaurus. Now, our oldest kid, Josh, is 14 and introducing his friends to this "really cool band" on his iPod. The music is timeless. We miss you guys.

way dig the Groovasaurus days. used to live in Brookline from 1998-2000. An old roomie turned me on to the band, I saw a show @ Harpers Ferry in 98 or 99 & was hooked. got plastereed w/friends & was accosted by Bostons finest on the way home. Keep on keeping on!

Anita you rock! I am an olde tyme Groovasaurus fan from way back in the days of the Claddagh in South Boston. I still listen to all the CD's (except the one with "Happy" on it which I lost and can't seem to find anyone to burn me a copy!) My wife and son and I listened to the Cheeks album on a road trip to North Carolina for the holidays ("Happy Holidays") and she was really interested in checking out your show. Hope to make it over to the Toad to check out your show!

heard you play at Toad on the 7th. Amazing! You sang a song that said something about love being a raging ocean and going beyond for ever, soemthing like that. Does this ring a bell? what song was that? which album is it on? I'd love to get it. And, I'm a member of Surfrider, a non-profit oceans protection advocacy group. We'd like to augment our monthly meetings with performers and speakers. Would you consider donating some time to come to play an hour set (we're trying to book Middle-East's upstairs room) and selling some CDs?

I was wondering what had become of Groovasaurus and Anita. I always loved your sound and thought that you had "it". Sadly there might not have been as many of me as their should have been, but I know more than a few that share my opinion and we all play music so I think that that counts for something.

I think yuo have a very natural and commanding voice, able to be both subtle and powerful as needed and knowing when it is appropriate to be either.

I am plesed to see that you are playing around the corner from my house at the Wild Horse. If things aren't too hectic with my wife and kids I will be there. At any rate, I am glad to see you are still performing. Those of us who like to go see quality performers need you.
